About Me

Tom Jarvis

Associate member of the Association of Wine Educators

I have worked in the wine trade for over a decade, and taught a very successful programme of wine appreciation classes at Kensington and Chelsea College for 3 years. I have held numerous private events and tastings, run corporate events for clients varying from financial institutions to the MOD and lectured to numerous wine clubs, PTAs, educational groups and various other organisations.

I gained the Wine and Spirit Education Trust Diploma in 2001, and have been an Accredited Tutor for that organisation. In 2008 I became a member of

The Association of Wine Educators. I also have a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, specialising in Further and Adult Education. In addition I have several years experience in commercial training and staff development outside the wine trade.

I enjoy visiting wine regions to brush up my knowledge. 2008 trips have included Beaujolais, Burgundy, the Loire Valley and Tuscany.
